UPDATE: Kill switch denied, then confirmed. Jobs says it’s for malicious code, but I’m willing to bet it’ll be used against the first piece of code he doesn’t like.

Man, I’m so glad I haven’t invested any money into that control trap that is the iPhone. Especially when they can decide what can run on it. Makes you wonder who the customer is, doesn’t it?

To be fair, the article does say that no apps are on the ban list, and it could be a handy tool to shut-down malicious code, but the fact that they can decide what runs on your device is enough for me to be even more thrilled with my recent Centro purchase.

I’ve always contended that even though Microsoft is bad in the #1 spot, Apple would be worse.
