Sadly, it was inevitable. For years, Netscape has been nothing more than a re-branded version of Firefox with AOL’s garbage built into it.
I think the last version of Netscape I used seriously was version 4.7. I played with some of the other versions, but stopped after they were just copying the Mozilla code.
Still, the Netscape brand will always have a special place in my memory.

Laugh if you wish, but some of the apps are actually useful (cardfile and calendar, for example)!

an interesting time line of the year 2007 put together by none other than MTV, and it doesn’t paint a rosy picture for the Music Industry; at least, as far as labels are concerned.
I do believe that artists like Nine Inch Nails, Radio Head and Madonna (Esther, whatever) have seen a glimpse into the future of the industry and are simply the tip of the iceberg of what’s to come.
