Vista reporting to US Government?

If true, it’s another reason not to upgrade to Vista. Any of you other Vista users care to take a look and quantify the accusation?

i kind of don’t think that has anything to do with it being vista. besides, the gov’t can and DOES use fake hosts so you have no idea it’s gov’t related. i know.
Yeah, it seems a little paranoid to think that Vista would be giving anything to the US Government. You know, they do have Vista and computer sales outside of the US, don’cha know.
I am inclined to think that if the government’s going to spy on you they’re not going to oust themselves, they’re going to hide and not be traced, just like what tj was saying.
I’m also inclined to think that it is more likely that dude and some government employee using the same program to do some illegal file sharing.
But what do I know?
As far as Vista and this guy noticing latency on his network — I believe my network has been better since both my computers went Vista… But that’s just me.
