I would go to this theme park EVERY DAY! I think it’d be a titillating experience.

Ubuntu 7.04: Feisty Fawn has been released. A review of it is up at Lunapark6.
I’ve made no secret of my love for Ubuntu; evangelizing it to anyone that will listen, and this release looks like it’ll give me more reason to do so.

OK, now I’m intrigued. I hope they can price them affordable, but I think we all know by now that the smaller they make computing devices the more expensive they get.

While I can agree, at least on the surface, with the idea that the RIAA and MPAA could make good use of pretexting, I have to call into question their real motives. I mean, this is a company (at least, in the RIAA’s case) that has sued children, the elderly, people who don’t even own computers and even dead people of copyright infringement by sharing songs over the internet.
Of course, I think the question that should trump all of the MPAA and RIAA’s concerns about pretexting is: “Aren’t the police or FBI supposed to do the investigating?”
Based on their history so far, I say it’s like allowing a minor alcohol: They just don’t know how to handle the responsibility when it comes to the law.

The 21 Biggest Technology Flops. Some familiar names; like the Apple Newton, the Apple Lisa, the poorly conceived (and stillbirthed) DiVX player and Microsoft Bob grace the argticle.
Sadly, SCO isn’t on the list, though I thought they’d be a shoe-in.

EMI goes DRM-free on iTunes Store. For $1.29/song, claiming it’s because of the higher quality of the songs (now 256kbps instead of 128) and not the fact that they are lacking DRM.
In other news, it’s reported that Satan was seen at the local Wal-Mart buying a pair of ice skates.
