This is the latest system that was just purchased for us. *swoon*.
- 9216 cores divided into 18 nodes with 512 cores each
- All cores/nodes connected into a single system via NUMAlink
- Processors are dual-core 1.6 GHz Itanium 2 with 9 MB of cache
- 16 nodes have 2 GB of memory per core (16 TB)
- 2 nodes have 4 GB of memory per core, i.e. large memory nodes (4 TB)
- Total memory in the system is 20 TB
- 440 TB of directly attached usable disk
- CXFS file system
- Multiple 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections to the LAN
- SUSE Linux with the latest ProPack release
- Intel Software Development Suite
- Water-cooled system
- A 32 core, 64 GB login/interactive node
