It’s being Instalanched right now, but Ken Rockwell.com has a handy holiday camera guide that might help those looking for a digital camera for Christmas.

never seen that site, but i’m particularly fond of steves-digicams.com. they have a “holiday wish list” link and “the BEST cameras” link. good stuff. VERY in-depth reviews with sample pictures. and if you don’t feel like reading every technical detail, you can skip to the conclusion.
