Buh-Bye PS2

I think I’m going to trade in my Gameboy SP (with the original Gameboy Games I have), PS2 and what games I don’t want anymore for a Nintendo DS. The reason? Final Fantasy III and Animal Crossing for the DS.
I’m not sure if I’m going to keep my PS2 Final Fantasy games. I’d hate to give them up if I could get another PS2 later down the road on the cheap, but I also don’t want to keep them if Nintendo’s going to be releasing them for the DS.
I doubt you’ll see the PS2 FF games on the DS. Probably not the PS ones either if that helps your decision.
Noooooo!!!! dont get rid of the FF games! I doubt they will come to any other system as remakes. There may be a new FF game on DS but not the ps2 ones. Also if you get rid of your ps2 your gonna miss FFVII Dirge of Cerebus! September! and FFXII not too much longer after that.
As for me, I am a slave to what ever system Square-Enix stays with $599 is gonna hurt here in a few months
well hopefully there is a price drop when the first FF game comes to PS3.
how often do you actually play the FF games? if you’re keeping them because you may someday get another ps2, dump them. you can ALWAYS buy them again later if you need or want to. go with the system that you’re gonna play now. that’s my advice.
i did that for a while, i had quite a few ps2 games i didn’t want to get rid of because i liked them and they were fun. about a year later, i said “i STILL haven’t played these … time to get rid of them.” so i did. you only ever have so much time for games, might as well keep/buy the ones you’ll play.
