Hacker deletes own hard drive

Two things about this:
- I read it on John’s site first, and
- any “hacker” stupid enough to point his hacking tools at 127.0.0.1 with the intent to delete someone else’s harddrive deserves to be forever ridiculed and held up as an example to other idiots.
That being said, I question the legitimacy of the original post. Is someone really that stupid?

Reminds me of the thief we ‘allegedly’ had around here somewhere several years ago. Robbing a store, the girl told him he’d have to sign for the money. He did and then wondered why they showed up at his door later…
