Tzones supports remote Gmail

Huh, how about that. Tmobile supports checking your Gmail from your cell phone!
- Sign into your Tzones account through the Tmobile website.
- Click on the MyEmail tab.
- Click setup if you haven’t setup an email account yet or Mailboxes -> Add Mailbox if you have email accounts already setup.
- Type in your email address (username@gmail.com), your gmail password, select if you want your password remembered or not and if you want notifications if you get new mail (please read the fine print here, especially if you don’t have unlimited text messaging!)
- Click Next, then Finish
You’re done! Just thought I’d share!
As an alternative, you can also use GmailWireless.com, assuming you trust them.
Yeah, if T-Mobile let me use T-Zones with the Treo 600 this would be great news. But instead they made me upgrade from the $3 T-Zones service that worked just fine to the $20 T-Mobole internet service that has the same features but so far has been slower than T-Zones. I’m currently seriously considering breaking my contract to switch to Sprint thereby also giving me access to the Treo 650.
