UPDATE: Any further commets, emails, whatever asking for songpacks will be deleted without a reply. I don’t know where to get them.
Both John and Teh Remy managed to talk me into downloading a game called StepMania.
It’s a Dance Dance Rovolution clone for various different operating systems. Obviously uses the keyboard instead of a dance pad, but I think people have made the pads for the pc.
Anyway, I would just like to take the opportunity to say that they suck, because I’m now hopelessly addicted to it (no to mention I suck at it).
So, yeah.

UPDATE 2: Since it appears that people can’t be bothered to actually READ the comments where people have given links to sites where stepmania packs can be found, I’m closing the comments.
I’ll also be going through the comments and removing all of the “where can I get song packs” comments since people can’t read.
Ryan (I’m not posting another link to his site) is having bandwidth problems partly due to the link that was posted in the comments of this post. He’s removed quite a few of the larger downloads and will be posting some ads and a donation link. Once that happens, I encourage everyone that downloads from him to help him out a bit since he’s asked me not to remove his link. I’ll post the donation link once I get it.

bemanistyle.comarch0wl.comya, register at http://www.bemanistyle.com and look in simfiles, and choose search and Sm(ddr) and just choose number of downloads descending and you got all the songs you want, but for song packages maybe look at http://www.arch0wl.com or .net or somthing and its a whole forum with ddr type stuff and they probably have one in there somewhere
fileplanet.comI found Stepmania song packs on File Planet click download if you don’t have a membership you have to wait in line before your download is started it’s worth it it has songs from most ddr mixes and max 1 and 2. I think the total is about 20 songs and steps. Good Luck!

If you don’t want a membership or do not have a mebership to file planet you can download from the free public servers. Although you might have to wait in line until your download is started. Try http://www.fireplanet.com and look around to see if you find an icon that says DDR Songs or something. Click on it and download any of the many downloadable things. Double click and you’ll have your stepmania songs in no time…….well if you are subscribed that is. If your not you’ll have to click the download things on the bottom of the page. It’ll probably take a while, but it’s really worth the wait!

Fileplanet sucks, go to http://www.akirablaid.com and register on the forums, then sign in on the main site and go to the stepmania page, there are tons of downloads neatly sorted by mix packages. My current fave is 3rd mix.

this place has ALL the DDR songs you could ever want there
but the only thing is the fact that you’ll have to wait a few days till they get back up and runing.

This website has packages from DDR 1st Mix - 8th Mix (Extreme).
A very nice site, downloads are big however. 7th - 8th are about 100mb each.
1st - 6th are around 50 mgs. Tough if you have dial-up.
for the ddr mixes which folder do u save them to in the stepmania folder. if i save them into ’songs’ it doesnt work.
