So they actually caught Saddam. When I think about that, I get an image of Preisdent Bush sitting in his oval office saying “Well, I’ll be damned, we actually caught him”.

Not that I didn’t want him to be caught, mind you. I just don’t think anyone actually expaected us to find him. I think this won’t do much for the US, but it’ll certainly help put the Iraqi people more at ease. And anything that helps our troops overseas is a good thing, in my opinion.

I don’t want people to misunderstand. I’m very glad Saddam has been caught. Hopefully the US has the sense to have him tried under Iraqi law. This will make him an enemy in the eyes of his own people and drastically reduces the image of martyrdom.

What irks me, though, is that Saddam no longer posed a threat to the US. That bastard bin Laden is still about and still making plans. I’m forced to wonder that if we put forth the same kind of effort into finding bin Laden, he might already be in custody.

We caught Saddam. Which is a good thing. However, we *NEED* to catch bin Laden.

Wow. With the lack of posts, you might be inclined to think that this site has been taken over by Teh Remy. I assure you that I’m alive and well and that Remy is no where near this site (excluding comments, that is).

I’ve been wrapped up in a Shadowbane coma for the past few months. I won’t go into details as I’m sure they would bore everyone, but suffice it to say that I’m really digging this game.

Shelby turns 1 on Christmas eve. Not quite sure how I feel about that. She’s been exploring the limits of baby-hood and is moving steadily into the toddler stage.

She hasn’t quite started walking yet, but she does a mean bear walk! No, crawling and walking while holding onto things like the table are the norm even though she tries to stand on her own.

We got a dishwasher installed. I love dishwashers! Crystal an dI both hate doing dishes, so they don’t get done too often. Oh, by the way. First person to post condescending, judgemental or rude posts about me having a dishwasher gets their IP address sent to the ban list. Got it?

Several Christamas parties/lunches coming up. Sounds like fun even though I’m not much of a socialite.
