This was buried in my comments section but I felt it was worth bringing up to the front page.

Many of you remember bit I posted about state-led mini-DMCA’s, but it looks like Richard did a bit more homework about what is affected by this. Give it a read and ask yourself: “is this something I want to REALLY happen?” If the answer to that question is no, then I beg you to contact your state governement and even your federal representatives to let them know you’re against this.

I can’t stress how important it is that these bills be shot down in flames so large that every representative for a hundred years will know the public’s opinion about the MPAA and RIAA telling us what our rights are!
